T-Mobile Internet allows you to cruise the web wherever life takes you courtesy of the T-Mobile global network and GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) mobile data technology. T-Mobile Internet/T-MobileWeb are add-on services that can be added to any existing post-paid price plan. The T-Mobile Internet plan is not meant for all devices. For example, it is not compatible with devices such as the Sidekick®. Additionally, some devices do not require the plan, such as the BlackBerry or iPaq handhelds, since you are already connected to the Internet through their associated plans. However, the T-Mobile Internet plan is a great match for other PDAs such as the Treo 600 in addition to laptops and data cards.

The T-Mobile Internet-Only plan includes unlimited data transmission in the United States, roaming charges may apply when traveling overseas.

T-Mobile Internet can be billed based on volume rather than minutes. Since t-zones and T-Mobile Internet use GPRS to transfer data, it is sent in packets. Information is divided and sent in small packets and routed through a network. This enables the network to route information more effectively.
